Deb Heffner was recently named Economic Development Coordinator for Berks Economic Partnership (BEP).  Heffner has been with BEP for over six years, most recently as Executive Administrative Assistant.  Jon Scott, President and CEO of BEP, made the announcement.

Heffner will be responsible for accounting and payroll functions, membership development and campaign coordination, management of the internship program, grant writing, and public relations including event planning and BCTV program production.  Heffner will also assist with business retention and attraction activities and represent BEP at various tradeshows and conferences.

“Deb is an extremely valuable member of our team and continues to take on more responsibilities and duties related to economic development,” said Scott.  “Her experience, knowledge, and customer service is crucial to the success of BEP.”

Heffner serves on the GiggleWorks Board of Directors and coaches field hockey in the Oley Valley Youth League.   She resides in Oley with her husband and two sons.
