ViVÁ Bistro & Tapas Lounge Set to Re-Open in Early September

Wyomissing, PA -- ViVÁ Bistro & Tapas Lounge, known for its French and Italian Euro-Mediterranean cuisine and small plate tapas, will re-open its doors to the public on September 8th, 2009.

The 14,000 square foot restaurant is located at the cornerstone of the new Wyomissing Square project at North Park Road and Hill Avenue.  During construction, ViVÁ was temporarily closed and will re-open to Berks County patrons on September 8th.

“We are very excited to welcome Berks County back to ViVÁ Bistro & Tapas Lounge,” says Jeff Hettinger, owner.  “The ViVÁ experience will offer the same great food, beverages and affordable pricing that our guests have always enjoyed.  We took the closing as an opportunity to make some exciting, new changes and additions to our menu and restaurant.  Guests will experience a fresh, new ViVÁ that builds upon our very successful traditions.”

In addition to the re-opening of ViVÁ Bistro & Tapas Lounge, the entire Wyomissing Square Project will be nearing completion, including 100 Park, a 248-unit luxury apartment complex with a fabulous community center and secure garage parking, a 135-room Courtyard by Marriott, and 50,000 square feet of retail space.  Wyomissing Square is the western anchor of the Penn Corridor, the “Main Street” connecting Wyomissing and Reading.

Jon Scott, President & CEO, Berks Economic Partnership, said that ViVÁ Bistro & Tapas Lounge is a critical component of the Wyomissing Square project.  “Any mixed use development needs a high quality restaurant, and the reopening of ViVÁ will provide a trendy gathering spot for hotel guests, shoppers, residents, and visitors,” Scott said.
