Greater Reading Young Professionals
GRYP is an active force in the Greater Reading area! Comprised mainly of young professionals between the ages of 21 and 45, this group is devoted to developing the networking, educational, and leadership skills of the younger workforce. GRYP members participate on local boards and commissions, and are proactive in helping raise awareness about the positive qualities of living and working in Greater Reading.
Since the group's inception in 2003 GRYP has grown to over 400 members and has continued to be an influential force in the Greater Reading area. Some of the organizations signature events include:
GiGi--an annual gala planned and hosted by GRYP
Costumes on the Corridor--A family event for trick-or-treaters on the Penn Corridor
The Greater Reading Community Fair--an annual event featuring Greater Reading businesses
Monthly member events--Third Thursday's, seminars, happy hours
